Development of an Autonomous Navigation System for a wheelchair Motorized Wheels using Convolutive Neural Network

In this project we developed an autonomous navigation system based on convolutional neural networks, we used a simulation to run the project and tests. We used this technology in an autonomous wheelchair to enable the rehabilitation of wheelchair users in severe cases of neuromotor diseases.

Social navigation is essential for us to insert service robots in society, as this area of study aims at the social interaction between man and machine.
